Infection Prevention and Control Manager - Permanent Full Time

We are seeking an enthusiastic IPC manager to lead our Infection Prevention and Control program on a full-time basis.
The role of the IPC Manager is to develop, coordinate and oversee activities related to preventing and controlling infections at Sunnybank Private Hospital.
You will provide leadership and expert advice, effectively organising and overseeing IPC activities to ensure adherence to standards and promote a culture of safety and quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, coordinate and oversee activities related to preventing and controlling infections
* Provide leadership and expert advice on IPC activities
* Liaise with multidisciplinary teams across the organisation
* Assume accountability and responsibility for IPAC data collection

Requirements:
* 3-years of post-graduation clinical experience as an IPC manager or Clinical Nurse Consultant
* Extensive experience as an IPC nurse within acute hospitals
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate, resolve conflict and handle sensitive issues
* Skills in relationship building, cooperation, conflict resolution and influencing others
* Ability to work independently and within scope of service and scope of practice
