The opportunity

Imagine being a Senior Brand Manager in one of the most engaging categories in the industry, with pets at the heart of everything we do.
As Senior Brand Manager for the VitaPet brand in Australia, you will be at the forefront of setting the strategy for the brand from innovation and portfolio management through to communications and activations associated with delivering the aspirations of the brand over the strategic plan.
What you will do:
1. Lead the annual delivery of the VitaPet brand plan;
2. Use data driven insight to evolve the innovation funnel and refine the portfolio architecture;
3. Motivate and lead the delivery of cross functional projects teams;
4. Lead the delivery of the VitaPet communications and activation plan;
5. Actively participate in key business processes including stage gate, IBP and commercial planning;
6. Lead the VitaPet Brand Manager to deliver key projects and activation within the portfolio;
7. Drive the VitaPet brand philosophy internally and with key external stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
8. Tertiary qualifications in marketing or communications;
9. Prior experience working within a brand marketing role (FMCG essential) and within animal health, food, baby products, or other business fields with veterinary and nutritional brands;
10. Excellent presentation and communication skills;
11. Excellent commercial acumen and understanding of P&L and category dynamic;
12. Strong relationship development and influencing skills;
13. Able to manage through ambiguity;
14. High level of self-motivation and results focused;
15. Strong planning and organisational skills;
16. Strong work ethic.
