Key Responsibilities
* Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and longer-term financial plans for each supply chain (Australia & New Zealand), aligning with overall company objectives.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to freight, warehousing, finished goods inventory, and bought-in finished goods pricing to assess performance and identify areas for optimization.
* Establish and maintain robust cost accounting systems to accurately track logistics costs, including freight and storage. Support accurate calculation of intercompany pricing and reporting of affiliate sales.
* Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and performance dashboards for supply chain and corporate leadership.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including US GAAP and local tax regulations, by maintaining accurate records and facilitating audits as needed.
* Partner with supply chain leadership teams in key management forums to provide financial insights and support decision-making on operational investments, resource allocation, and operational efficiencies activities.
* Analyze cost trends, investigate variances, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
* 5+ years of progressive co-piloting experience in finance, preferably in an FMCG environment.
* Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, financial analysis, and performance metrics.
* Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Experience using a range of accounting software, advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerBI.
