You will bring your years of structural engineering expertise to join a high-performing team who will value your diverse background and innovative thinking, which suits brownfield projects, both external corrosion projects as well as expansion projects with the Woodside team.Role Responsibilities: Reporting to the Lead Structural Engineer, support the delivery of technical engineering deliverables that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.Responsible for design and documentation of steel and concrete structures.Prepare structural design calculations for WEL KGP brownfield works, including Design of pipe support, Cable ladder support, Equipment footing, Structure footing, Concrete slab design, Modification of steelwork in existing structures, Integrity checks of existing structures.Attend site inspections and assist in vendor management.Perform supporting tasks such as:Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports, and follow required checking procedures.Identify changes to the Lead Structural Engineer as per project change management processes.Gather data from multiple sources and prepare engineering studies, analyses, and calculations.Support technical development of solutions and recommendations and create final documentation for project deliverables.Assist in coordinating multidisciplinary scopes.Present designs and run design review meetings within the team and with the client.Prepare material requisitions and Scope of Works.Participate in bid clarifications, conduct bid evaluations, complete inter-discipline vendor information review and approval, and finalize certification activities.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering with relevant experience in structural engineering design in brownfield mining and/or oil & gas industry.Familiar with Australian design codes including AS3600, AS4100, and AS1170.Previous experience in performing site inspections is advantageous.Ability to undertake short-term travel to site.Keen attitude to learn new design tools and project delivery modes.Experience working in diverse teams and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Highly driven with a focus on delivery and service.Sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards, statutory, and regulatory requirements.Knowledge of Woodside standards and systems is desirable but not essential.Agile with working in multiple platforms and environments, including the use of the 365 suite and other collaboration tools.Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
