Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring the successful achievement of project objectives and adherence to workplace safety regulations. Your role will involve effectively managing subcontractors and internal trades, while maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring the timely and high-quality completion of job sites.Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision of maintenance works for social housing properties across the greater Sydney Metropolitan area. Your main duties will include but are not limited to: Inspect, scope and report on works requiredProvide accurate and detailed scope of works for residential propertiesSupervise multiple projects from start to handoverCoordination of subcontractors and internal tradesCommunicate effectively with clients, trades and office staffMaintain high level of paperwork and organisationInspect completed work to ensure high standard of quality workmanshipEnsure all projects are completed on timeInstigate and maintain WHS processes and compliance of the safety of all personnel on the worksitesTo be successful in the position, the following attributes are required: Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential construction A formal qualification in a construction related discipline is essentialRelevant experience in the social housing sectorFamiliar with Housing NSW Schedule of Rates Problem solving abilities and solution-based thinkingGreat with clients and resolving issuesAbility to manage subcontractors and suppliers maintaining a positive relationshipDemonstrate a high level of WH&S and QA knowledgeExcellent time management and communication skillsBe well presented, reliable and exhibit a professional attitudeBenefits Established companyPositive cultureCompany carPre-engagement Verification: The following will be verified prior to appointment:Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia/New Zealand or Unlimited Working Rights in AustraliaPolice checkReferences
