Job Description:
Architect Support person is to assist the Architectural Reps to specify core range product for project specifications. To provide internal support to the Architect Rep’s in the Taren Point location. The Architect Support person will be a vital part of the Business Development team. This role is a perfect opportunity for a recent school graduate to begin their career.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Architectural Rep’s with project specifications and internal support
Work with the Cordell lead generation process and reporting
Assist the Business Development Rep’s with Cordell/Project information
Assist with securing project pricing from suppliers
Monitor Cordell projects and project quotes
Assist with the preparation of picture book product proposals
Assist Architectural Reps with product information
Assist Architectural Rep’s with project pricing and quantities on occasions
Communicate via telephone and email with Architects, Rep’s, customers & suppliers
Communicate internally with other divisions and staff
Assist customers and Architectural Rep’s on product information & technical advice
Assist in maintaining the supplier library catalogues
Follow company policy and procedure re; paperwork/customer files/uniforms
Attend weekly team meetings
Download tender documents and schedules
Attention to detail in all aspects of your work
Any ad hoc duties as required including but not limited to using your skill set within another division/department.
