This newly created role is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to develop and implement ICT strategy. This role is crucial for collaborating in our shared services function working closely with our CFO, supporting all aspects of the company’s finance and business systems activities.
You will play a pivotal part in assisting the CEO and CFO in the continuous development and interrogation of our financial software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with the company's long-term business objectives.
2. Collaborate with department leaders to identify system requirements, enhancements, and process automation opportunities.
3. Provide expertise in recommending changes to applications to enhance performance and service delivery to business units.
4. Optimize processes, identifying areas for automation and efficiency improvements.
5. Evaluate and select software and systems that align with the organization's strategic goals.
6. Oversee the implementation and integration of systems to enhance reporting capabilities and streamline processes.
7. Establish, amend, or support systems processes and functionality to ensure data integrity across all ICT-related systems.
8. Lead and manage project work related to the implementation of new systems, ensuring timely and successful deployment.
9. Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure.
10. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure projects stay on track.
11. Ensure that all system implementations meet business needs and comply with relevant standards and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field.
* Prior experience in managing ICT systems, preferably within the manufacturing or finance industries.
* Exposure to multi-entity systems and consolidation.
* Strong understanding of ICT and workflow management applications.
* Knowledge of ERP systems.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Proven ability to prioritize and effectively manage workload and deadlines.
* Collaborative team player / able to work autonomously.
