Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist looking to join an organisation that is invested in its community? This is an exciting opportunity to join WA Country Health Service in Midwest – Carnarvon as Clinical Nurse Specialist – Community Mental Health.
A rewarding and interesting role where you will:
1. Provide specialised Mental Health Services for people with mental disorder in the Central West region, based on nursing best practice, including assessment, crisis care and intervention. Works as part of the regional Mental Health team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
2. Extensive experience as a Community Mental Health Nurse with demonstrated expert level skills in crisis intervention, assessment, treatment and case management of adults and seniors with complex mental disorders.
3. Advanced knowledge and ability to initiate & manage interventions under the Mental Health Act 2014.
4. Demonstrated skills in applying the National Standards for Mental Health Services at the organisational level and in clinical practice.
5. Demonstrated clinical leadership skills including skills in providing clinical supervision, line management and performance development with supervised staff.
