Currently working on projects throughout Australia on various residential and industrial land developments, high-rise units, government infrastructure, infrastructure projects and hydrographic surveys. Employing state of the art survey equipment and software, powered by the best people in the industry, we pride ourselves on the high level of service that we provide to our clients.Our team has professional expertise over many years in all areas of surveying, GIS and land management. We have offices at Warana (Sunshine Coast), Chinchilla and Dalby (Western Downs) and Toowoomba. Key responsibilities: Manage accounting records and processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.Prepare monthly, annual, and other periodic financial reports and analysis, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash management strategies to maximize efficiencies and growth.Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Serve as the principal point of contact for external accountants; manage preparation and support for external financial reports.Implement and monitor tax strategies to optimise tax obligations.Coordinate, assist, and supervise other support staff as required.Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and practices. Qualifications & Experience required: Proven work experience as a Financial Controller.Proficiency in accounting software, preferably MYOB Advanced.Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.Working knowledge of all appropriate statutory legislation and regulations.Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, or a related discipline.Advanced level certification for all MS Office applications.Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.Must be an Australian Resident or have a current Australian Work Visa.
