About the role
It's an exciting time to join the Ag industry! Our client has a new opportunity within their organisation to develop and implement Sales strategies with their dealer network within Eastern Victoria and Tasmania. As Territory Sales Manager/Account Manager, you will be charged with increasing dealer sales through dedicated programs and procedures for the assigned territory; support and help the dealers to ensure maximum market share is achieved in all segments; work with the dealer network to ensure a professional image is presented to the market through dealer standards and quality programs. This is a field based role and can be performed from any reasonable location within Eastern Victoria such as Melbourne East/South East, Gippsland through to Bairnsdale or anywhere in between! There will also be times you will need to travel to Tasmania. Ideally you will have:
1. Proven experience in a Sales or Sales Management role and a knowledge or interest in Agriculture
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Strong computer literacy skills
4. A willingness to travel by car throughout Eastern Victoria and Tasmania
5. The ability to work remotely
Previous exposure to Agricultural and Farming Machinery in a retail or wholesale environment would be advantageous for this position. Candidates who have experience with brands such as John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Claas, Kubota, Duetz or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.
A remuneration package will be negotiated with the shortlisted candidates and subject to experience. You will also receive an incentive package, company vehicle, phone, laptop and a flexible working environment.
