Project Manager
1. Project Manager
2. 12 Months Contract (with a view to extension) and it is a Remote opportunity.
3. Large Energy client
4. Daily rate ranges from $950 to $1100 (Incl. super)
5. Candidate must hold Australian Permanent Residency Visa or Citizenship
6. The PM should explore cheaper options, maximize Splunk’s potential, or suggest alternatives since they currently use Splunk.
RESPONSIBILITIES
7. Develop and be accountable for project management plans to deliver project and resourcing strategies.
8. Develop and maintain the overall project plan and Gantt Chart, monitoring performance against the project plan to ensure key milestones are met and preparing regular reports for the Project Steering Committee
9. Schedule “end to end” delivery of project deliverables and manage appropriate interdependencies between projects.
10. Establish risk, issues, and decisions registers to assist management understand emerging issues and mitigate potential outcomes.
11. Report project delivery performance
12. Follow up actions from Project Steering Committee meetings and the project plan to ensure key milestones are met.
13. Track project expenditure, prepare forecasts of upcoming spends, and prepare regular expenditure reports for the Project Steering Committee
14. Provide long term program visibility and work with the Change Manager to prepare communications to both internal and external stakeholders.
15. Work with the Change Manager to ensure Training Programs are in place to support systems, process and practice changes.
16. Provide Project inputs to the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Contract Management teams.

17. Ability to work with others in a professional manner while achieving a common goal.
18. Demonstrated ability to service customers and stakeholders.
19. Experience in the development, management and implementation of performance reporting processes and improved business processes
20. Demonstrated ability to assess risks and analyse issues with a view to proposing solutions to achieve cost effective business outcomes.
21. Knowledge and understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
SKILLS
22. Demonstrated project management skills and experience in managing and delivering complex projects.
23. Strong communicator who effectively conveys information, influences, and possesses excellent business writing and reporting skills.
24. Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, schedule tasks and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.
25. Proven and effective change management skills including the ability to hold people to account while working in a collegiate manner.
26. Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications.
NICE TO HAVE
27. Scrum experience would be beneficial.
