Right at Home provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our Gold Coast team. The role:
This role involves travelling between client’s homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
* Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
* Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
* Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
* Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
* Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
* Performs work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator
* Services generally between the hours of 6am-8pm Monday to Friday
What you will need:
* Australian Federal Police Clearance
* Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Australian Driver’s Licence
* Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
* Smartphone with internet access
