Event Management (Marketing & Communications) WOW Recruitment is excited to be exclusively recruiting for a Technical Event Manager role with a full-service event production company based in Perth.

Company A full-service production house, delivering a range of events across Australia, including award shows, gala dinners, AGMs, sporting events, and theatre-type productions.
Their offering spans AV, staging and flooring, event management services, and production consultancy.
Role As a Technical Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production of events.
You will be the client's main point of contact throughout each event lifecycle, ensuring expectations are met and communicating any changes to event plans effectively.
You'll be supported by a team of technical experts (audio technicians, vision technicians, vision mixers, etc.), along with a team in the company's warehouse facility.
You will also be responsible for creating and amending floor plans for events.
You'll largely be given the autonomy to manage your own time, with flexibility on working hours.
In the run-up to events, however, you may be required to coordinate your hours with colleagues in the technical and warehouse teams.
Requirements Experience in a client-facing role (Project Manager, Account Manager, Production Manager, Technical Event Manager, etc.) within an event production company.
An understanding of AV systems & equipment - you will be supported by AV Technicians.
An understanding of Vectorworks or other industry-standard software used for creating floor plans (Auto CAD, Sketch Up, etc.).
Able to travel on-site for events where required - mainly Perth / WA.
Location, Hybrid Working & Travel The office is based in Perth, with a hybrid working model on offer.
Travel for events is to be expected, with the vast majority within Perth or WA.
A relocation package is on offer for suitable candidates.
Salary Range & Package Details A salary in the range of $90,000 - 120,000 + Super.
You will be eligible for time off in lieu for weekend or night work when on-site for events.
