RACQ is looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee our Vehicle Recovery Operations, ensuring safe, high-quality towing services across our roadside assistance network.In this key role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of RACQ’s roadside towing operations, with a focus on safety, service delivery, and cost management. You will lead efforts to maintain ISO certification, collaborate with business stakeholders, and support community events and advocacy programs. A significant aspect of this role will be driving compliance, risk management, and the development of a consistent approach across our operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead the management of RACQ’s roadside towing operations, ensuring safe and efficient service delivery.Oversee safety frameworks, risk management, and compliance assurance across all operations.Support internal and external stakeholders in contract relationships and community engagement.Deliver high-quality outcomes by effectively communicating complex information to diverse audiences.Manage high-volume, process-driven operations with a strong focus on detail and customer satisfaction.To succeed in this role, you will need:3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in logistics or a similar environment.Proven ability to manage large and varied client bases, ensuring safety and operational excellence.Strong leadership skills and decision-making capabilities.A customer-focused approach with the ability to build professional relationships.Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong analytical and numerical skills.A deep understanding of safety practices and the ability to implement and manage complex frameworks.Why join RACQ?It is an exciting time to be part of RACQ as we continue our transformation towards better, smarter solutions that deliver more security and prosperity for Queenslanders.
