This key role involves you partnering with key stakeholders by providing real-time, accurate and meaningful financial information designed to drive strategies and commercial decisions which maximise value and manage risk.The role will report to the Senior Finance Manager – Rail and you will be fully responsible for managing the accounting, reporting, financial planning, forecasting and analysis for Monarto Safari Resort.Key ResponsibilitiesMonth end accounting, performance analysis and reporting.Monitoring and understanding operations and business performance to identify key issues and ensure actions are taken to address budget shortfalls.Preparing monthly management reports for business leaders and department managers including P&L's, cost, labour reports and KPI's.Assisting with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.Provide day to day support and business partnering services to the business and ensure clear visibility on cost drivers to drive performance efficiency.Supporting on ad hoc commercial analysis required.Support in inventory reporting and analysis including stocktakes and wastage report.Build collaborative working relationships within the business and the broader JB Group to support in decision making.Partner with business to identify and drive profit improvement.Work with the business to establish robust processes, policies and controls framework.Facilitate the link between Monarto Safari Resort and Journey Beyond Corporate shared service functions to support and ensuring effective communication on business issues and central finance policies and requirements.About YouYou will have degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline and CA/CPA or similar (or in progress) along with 3-5 years experience in accounting.
