Job Description52188 - Senior Business Analyst Permanent Hybrid Working Opportunity - located in Barangaroo How will I help?We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Group Operations Chief Operating Office within the Customer & Corporate Services Division. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring project outcomes align with the strategic goals of Westpac. Your initial focus will be on payments processes and tools used by our Group Operations business units, ensuring improvements are closely aligned to the needs of our users and customers.Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: Gather and analyse detailed requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and surveys. Lead the definition and validation of payment process requirements, develop business cases, ensure documentation aligns with project goals, and support adherence to Westpac's methodologies. Document and improve business processes, payment workflows, and data flows. Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development teams. Collaborate with architects, developers, and key stakeholders to design and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure clear, continuous communication. Develop and maintain business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, and process flows. Identify and mitigate risks associated with business requirements, scope, and implementation. Support testing, training, and implementation activities to ensure successful delivery of solutions. Experience in large-scale Payments and Operations transformation programs. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills at all levels. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Ability to extract insights from data and develop data-driven solutions.
