ABOUT THE ROLEYou will be responsible for creating and reporting on integrated email marketing campaigns across our brands to support brands strategies, lead generation and monthly sales cycles.You will be a creative yet analytical thinker who can deliver exciting and engaging email campaigns and will be instrumental in contributing to lead generation through email marketing.Reporting to the Email Marketing Manager and within the Marketing Department, you will work closely with the Creative, SEO, Web Content, Social Media, Digital Ads, Web Dev, Project Management and Product Marketing teams.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESCreate clear and compelling email campaigns that convert into leads and dealsBrainstorm and propose fresh content angles for emails every monthResearch our industry, competitors, and target audience to formulate ideas or support your writingStay informed of new products or feature releases to incorporate into campaignsWrite blog articles using ChatGPT to support and enhance email campaignsCreate and design email graphics or ticket more complex requirements to the Creative teamSet up and deploy email campaigns and A/B testsOptimise email deliverability using tools such as Glocks and MailReachOptimise email responsiveness and HTML using tools such as Adobe DreamweaverBuild new email templates, workflows and campaigns to support marketing objectivesCreate, update and maintain automated email campaigns that cater to various customer segmentsMonitor and report on projects, email deliverability, engagement, conversion, and other key performance metricsA/B test new ideas for email subject lines, copy and designsContinually research and identify ways to improve and optimise email campaignsContribute to monthly reporting processesUndertake list management, segmentation and clean-up processesUpdate and maintain process documentation as requiredOther related tasks as assigned by management such as writing for other mediums (e.g. websites, ads, blogs, news articles and marketing materials)Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in English, Communications, or related field1+ years’ experience building highly effective email marketing campaigns2+ years’ experience working within a marketing teamExperience in Canva or similar design toolsExcellent research, writing, editing and proofreading skillsCreativity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and motivationStrong typing skillsExperience managing and maintaining email lists and email segmentsUnderstanding of and working knowledge with basic HTMLReceptiveness to feedbackExcellent time-management and organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlinesHighly regarded:Experience with Active Campaign or similar email marketing platformsExperience working with email automationExperience working with Zoho CRM, Zoho Projects, Zoho People and Zoho AnalyticsExperience using Adobe Dreamweaver for HTML optimisation of emailsExperience with reporting and using analytical toolsProven experience as a copywriter or related roleKPI – your performance will be based on:Meeting targets across key email metrics (open rate, CTR, CTOR, unsubscribe rate, conversions and lead generation goals)When apply, please make sure to include:ReferencesLinks to your portfolio or provide samples of your previous projectsWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?Work from homeCompany-provided equipmentFlexible start and end times between 6-7 AM and 3-5PMWork less!
