Five weeks leave, Christmas leave, Study Leave, ability to Purchase leave Qualification bonus and Anniversary Bonus The Role This is a part-time OR full-time opportunity for a qualified Speech Pathologist based out of AEIOU Logan. Initial contract 12 months, with likelihood of extension. The Speech Pathologist operates within an early learning framework and provides specialist therapy support for children with autism spectrum disorder, their families, and carers. In 2024, we expanded our services to support AEIOU alumni transitioning to new educational settings, and now, we’re excited to open our waitlist to the wider community. Our therapy services support children with autism, suspected autism, or Global Developmental Delay (GDD), providing tailored interventions that recognise each child’s strengths and unique needs. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with children in home, school, or centre environments (depending on availability), delivering meaningful, evidence-based therapy. If you have experience in paediatrics and autistic supports and are eager to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you. About AEIOU We employ Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Behavioural Therapists, and a comprehensive education and supervisory team. AEIOU’s program operates across eleven centres to support children develop important life skills to help them communicate, connect, and develop independence. At AEIOU you will be working within a team, contributing to Individual Plans to support children to develop play, social, motor, and self-help skills. Our Speech Pathologists also provide training and supervision to team members in their area of expertise. Requirements You have a passion for working with children; you practice with energy and zeal, balanced with patience and kindness. Bachelor or Master qualification of Speech Pathology and Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) registration. Knowledge of typically developing children from birth to school aged children, and experience in working with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is desirable.
