Six String Brewing Co. is looking for a Sales Manager to take our award-winning beers to the next level. We’ve been rocking the craft beer scene since 2013, and with our expanding brewing capacity and growing distribution, we need a passionate leader to drive our wholesale growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership – Lead, mentor, and inspire a small but passionate sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
2. Strategic Planning – Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to expand market share, boost brand presence, and consistently achieve KPIs.
3. Key Account Management – Build and strengthen strategic partnerships, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships across corporate national accounts, retail chains, and community venues.
4. Brand Visibility & Advocacy – Drive brand awareness and market penetration, ensuring Six String Brewing Co. remains front and centre in the craft beer scene.
5. Market Research & Analysis – Stay ahead of industry trends, conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.
6. Tender & Budget Management – Prepare and submit annual tenders for national accounts while effectively managing budgets and forecasting sales performance.
7. Customer Engagement – Partner with key stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences and foster long-term loyalty.
Skills & Attributes
1. Experienced Sales Manager with a minimum of five years’ experience in sales leadership .
2. While beer industry experience is a plus, we welcome candidates with exceptional sales and leadership skills who can adapt quickly and succeed in this space. A strong focus on business development and stakeholder engagement will be key to driving success.
3. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving significant business growth.
4. Exceptional leadership abilities, with a knack for developing and inspiring high-performing teams.
5. Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
6. Outstanding relationship-building skills, complemented by strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
7. Highly organized, with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
