A leading company specializing in the manufacture, maintenance, repair, and servicing of waste management machinery are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join their team, with a focus on servicing and maintaining electrical systems in waste machinery. Job Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in waste management machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues with machinery, including motors, sensors, control panels, and wiring. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical components to ensure machinery is operating efficiently. Conduct electrical tests and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure timely repairs and minimize equipment downtime. Assist in the upgrading and modification of electrical systems to improve performance and energy efficiency. Maintain accurate records of service, maintenance, and repairs. Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety protocols and industry standards. Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-call support as needed. Keep up to date with advancements in electrical technologies and best practices for waste machinery. Requirements: Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in industrial machinery or waste management equipment. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, controllers, wiring, and electrical components. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals. Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical faults in complex systems. Knowledge of safety standards and procedures for electrical work in industrial settings. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with other team members and clients. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Technical certification or an associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
