Job Title: Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Surgical Services department. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Paediatric Surgery Department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide confidential administrative services to the Paediatric Surgery Department
* Coordinate theatre lists for a group of medical officers
* Perform medical typing tasks
* Support outpatient clinics and liaise with patients and their carers
About You:
* Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
* Demonstrated initiative and good organisational skills, ability to set priorities, work under pressure and undertake some problem solving with limited assistance
* Experience in administrative/secretarial role in a health care related environment
* Understanding patient rights and responsibilities and confidentiality
