Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team of professionals who share a passion for supporting children and families. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support services to children and their families in various settings, including schools, homes, clinics, or community locations.
* Consult and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clients achieve their goals.
* Facilitate liaison and support between families/carers and relevant professionals in community and education settings.
* Assist in preparing children for their next educational environment and provide support to other key stakeholders.
* Work within a multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary team.
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
* A current NSW Working With Children's Check and first aid certificate (or ability to obtain one).
* Current driver's licence.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience or keen interest in working with children who have disability and developmental delays and their families.
* A basic level of understanding about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
* Proven ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
