We are looking for an Oncology Nurse who is professional and motivated while being passionate about providing exceptional patient care. This is a full-time, permanent position however we would consider a part-time offer for the right person.

About You:
We are looking for a passionate nurse who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable and proactive approach to your work.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
* Qualified in their Cert 4 in Vet Nursing
* A minimum of 3 years of experience as a qualified Veterinary Nurse
* Demonstrated desire and drive to pursue professional and personal development.
* Have a high level of enthusiasm and initiative
* Knowledge and understanding of basic medical/oncological diseases and associated terminology
* Excellent venepuncture skills
* Understanding of the importance of safe chemotherapy handling and administrative protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
* Confidence with anaesthesia and monitoring sedations
* Demonstrated ability to anticipate and prepare what may be required by Oncologists when assisting with procedures
* Interest in Radiation Oncology
* Ability to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently
* Excellent feline handling skills
* Excellent client communication skills
* Demonstrated capacity to work effectively as a part of a multi-disciplinary team
Desirable but not essential:
* Experience as a specialist nurse or within Medicine or Oncology
