Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Chef de Partie to join our team. As a key player in preparing food before meal service begins, you will be responsible for setting up and stocking kitchen stations and plating cooked foods.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, including proper storage of food, equipment, utensils, and cleaning supplies.
* Ensure all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation of a variety of dishes.
* Supervise and train cooks and kitchen staff.
* Clean, sanitize, and disinfect all kitchen areas.
Requirements
* A formal qualification in Commercial Cookery.
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
* Comprehensive knowledge of food operations, including food safety and quality standards.
* Highly effective verbal communication skills.
* Availability to work a range of hours, including weekends and public holidays.
