About the roleThe Delivery Lead leads one or more delivery teams and is responsible for the management, control and co-ordination of Initiative delivery, to ensure it meets agreed deliverables, in line with the TD Delivery Framework.The Delivery Lead brings expertise in delivery management, resource management, financial management, delivery and sprint planning, scheduling and execution, progress reporting and stakeholder engagement, whilst maintaining strong governance.Working as part of an inclusive and collaborative team your key responsibilities will include:
Implement key initiatives in line with agreed budget, schedule and to qualityManagement and coordination of delivery plan, risks, issues, change with stakeholder groups / cross-functional resources within approved budget and schedule parametersDrive strong governance of Agile, project, release management, change, and testing methodologiesMonitor of initiative schedule to budget.
Development of financial evaluation model, benefits, and ongoing BAU costs, in order to hand over to business areas post project closureIdentify resource requirements to deliver initiative which covers requirements for business analysts, cross-functional resources, business support and testing.
Assign work to team/squad members, and track progressAs work manager to all team/squad members, monitor progress of individual team members and provide regular performance feedback to both the individual, as well as the individual's line manager (People Leader)Take accountability for the overall technical solution through providing thought leadership and governance to technical delivery teams and ensuring alignment with P&N's release management guidelinesDevelop plans to mitigate risk with a sound understanding of risk management principles, and ensure risk and compliance guardrails are followed during design, delivery and implementation.What will you bring?
