Your Opportunity Located in Robertson, Triple Care Farm Withdrawal Unit is a youth specific drug and alcohol detox facility for young people aged 16-24. This is a 28-day program with ten monitored rooms, ensuite bathrooms and 24/7 active supervision. The focus is around providing holistic support to help young people to withdraw from substances. In addition to medical support, the program offers counselling, case management, and recreational supports to assist the client in their recovery goals. We are seeking a Program Manager to lead a large multi-disciplinary team of medical staff and youth workers. You will oversee the operational functions including budget management, rostering, intake processes and provide clinical leadership for the Withdrawal Unit, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of care and support for our clients including working with external medical professionals in withdrawal management. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the delivery of trauma-informed and high-quality clinical care to all clients within the program. This is a holistic program offering tailored, individual support to a challenging cohort of youth that have suffered significant trauma and have a high level of distrust. Your key responsibilities will be to: Lead and provide guidance to the team in the delivery of the program and contractual requirements to clients. Provide supervision and support to the team and address any areas of development. Act as an escalation point, on call for the service to ensure issues are resolved quickly. Respond to and manage employee grievances and undertake disciplinary action. Undertake recruitment and selection of new and replacement staff. Develop and maintains relationships with other key internal stakeholders. Develop beneficial relationships with the Funding Body, external government agencies and community groups. Approve and monitor program expenditure and client brokerage in line with the program budget. Complete a range of Budget, WHS and compliance administration duties. Ensure the service is meeting compliance, funding agreements and create reports including comprehensive program and client data statistics and reports. Provide a rotating on-call services for the program when required. Requirements for Success Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams in a healthcare and/ or complex service delivery setting. Relevant degree with experience or associate diploma with substantial experience Extensive knowledge of mental health issues, substance use treatment and working with youth. Demonstrated ability to deliver service outcomes on time and in compliance with funding requirements. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. Previous experience in budget and financial management A Current Driver’s License Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
