Job Description We are looking for an experienced Safety, Health and Environment Manager to join our cotton team, ideally based at our gin in Dalby.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a SHE professional that is looking to work for an organisation that has strong engagement and a true commitment to the safety of their people.
Our SHE Manager will be the driving force behind our strategic plans, leading all SHE operations for our cotton business in Australia.
Reporting directly to industry, you'll work hand-in-hand with the wider business to ensure strategic alignment with global initiatives and support the local team to drive best practices at our geographically disperse sites.You'll be part of a collaborative culture that fosters an improved safety culture, ensuring operational excellence.
We are seeking a safety leader with:Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver on projects and practices that increase shared knowledge and success for SHEExperience leading a small SHE team across a geographically dispersed businessAbility to influence and drive the effective implementation of LDC Global SHE systems throughout all Australian cotton sites and operationsYou will play a key role in the strategic direction and be instrumental in coaching and supporting the team through your leadership of safety projects and ongoing improvements.
Regular travel will be required.
While our preference is for this role to be located at one of our gin sites in Moree, Dalby or Emerald, other locations may be considered.
