About the roleSt John Ambulance Victoria are seeking an experienced Head of Risk who will be responsible for driving strategic risk management. The Head of Risk will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing an integrated Governance, Risk & Compliance operating system to ensure excellence in care and service delivery across the organisation.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing the development and implementation of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) policies and procedures, extending to the operations of Seniors Community Care. You will ensure that best industry practices and standards are applied across the organisation with the assistance of the Quality and Governance Lead.This role is based at our Notting Hill headquarters.As our ideal candidate, you will possess:Extensive knowledge in risk, finance, environmental science, or related field through a tertiary qualification or significant business experienceDemonstrated experience in management level governance, risk management and complianceExposure to ESG reporting, sustainability practices and relevant regulationsExcellent written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex details effectivelyUnderstand the key drivers of risk/reward relationships with proven project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasksAbility to review processes and implement changes in a timely manner.Openness to new ideas and innovations, translating them into real business solutionsDon't meet every requirement?
