About the role NSW Crown Solicitor's Office (CSO) is looking for solicitors with experience in Medical Negligence claims and coronial inquests .
As a Solicitor (Legal Officer Grade I -III), you will conduct assigned legal matters (advice and litigation) and assist senior solicitors with the conduct of their legal issues within a specialist legal practice group to ensure the provision of high-quality, cost-effective, and client-focussed legal services to government.
If successful, you will be engaged within the Torts (Service/Regulatory Agencies) practice groups to undertake matters including medical negligence claims and inquests for NSW Health Agencies.
This recruitment will create a talent pool to fill full-time vacancies as and when they arise.

Admission or eligibility for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW.
Legal knowledge which enables the provision of written and oral advice and representation in appropriate legal matters in areas of law in which the Crown Solicitor specialises.
Undertake Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Travel for regional or interstate court and other commitments subject to the application of any discrimination legislation (including in respect of carer's responsibilities).
