Work as the No.1 site manager for a specialist commercial fit-out builder with over 20 years of industry experience in the Melbourne construction market.
Renowned for delivering high-quality projects for some of Melbourne's best-known leading businesses, you will be tasked with delivering a challenging $1.1M commercial fit out and upgrade in one of the more prestigious buildings in the heart of Collins St
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager with a head contractor
* Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or related field
* Ability to collaborate with design teams to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces
* Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in relevant software (e.g., Procore, project management tools)
* Trade background (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) highly desirable
Responsibilities:
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
* Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or delays promptly
* Oversee the entire site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
* Lead and mentor a team of skilled tradespeople and subcontractors
* Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
* Implement safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on site
