The centre is a purpose-built facility, that is designed to make our daily tasks easier. We have an expansive, nature-based outdoor play area, where children can learn by play and exploration.We are searching for an experienced Centre Director to lead our team and manage our 70-place service with the support of an Assistant Director.About the RoleThis is a Permanent Full-Time role working 75 hours per fortnight (Mon-Fri), our organisation also offers a condensed working fortnight (work 10 longer days, get the 9th day off).Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide pedagogical leadership to ensure quality care and education programs for children, and direction, support and continuous learning for staff.Provide a vibrant, interesting, varied and appropriate children’s program that is developed and implemented to meet the ongoing needs of the children as per the Early Years Learning Framework.Ensure that the philosophy, policies and procedures of the Service are upheld, implemented and reviewed regularly to meet relevant requirements.Maintain compliance and work within the National Regulations and Law along with all legal and statutory requirements.Build relationships and strong connections between families and the Centre.Actively support the mission, vision and values of the organisation.Monitor the utilisation of services and financial expenditure to ensure compliance within budget.General staff management responsibilities such as recruitment, rosters and performance management.Qualifications:Minimum of a diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education (or a relevant field), approved by ACECQA (Teachers Registration number if applicable)Demonstrated understanding of EYLF and National Quality StandardsDemonstrated awareness of the Early Childhood Sector and contemporary ECEC policy, practices and complianceExceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skillsHighly developed management skillsExperience in budget management and financial planningValid Working with Children Check cardCommitment to high quality inclusive education and careWillingness to try new and innovative ideas and make them work.We will commence short listing immediately.Welcome to Child Australia.
