We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor for our client which is an Indian restaurant. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. You will work closely with the management team to maintain high standards of service, quality, and cleanliness. Your role will also involve training and supervising the restaurant staff to ensure they deliver exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and scheduling staff - Train and supervise restaurant staff to ensure they adhere to company policies and provide excellent customer service - Monitor and maintain food and beverage quality, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to the restaurant's standards - Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner - Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction - Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, including dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and food handling procedures - Assist in creating and updating menus, as well as managing inventory and ordering supplies - Conduct regular staff meetings and provide feedback to improve performance and productivity Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry - Strong leadership and communication skills - Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities - Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed - Knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture is an asset - Valid food safety certification is preferred If you are a passionate and driven individual with a strong background in restaurant operations, we want to hear from you We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 to $75,000 plus superannuation, along with opportunities for growth and development within our company.
