About the role
Permanent and temporary opportunities to Contribute to practice and service development, innovation and activities that improve medicines management for patients of the Tess Cramond Pain and Research Centre (TCPRC). Lead a vital clinical role in medication review of patients with persistent pain.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
1. Provide high level clinical Pharmacy services to a complex caseload within the TCPRC in accordance with prescribed professional, legislative and ethical standards and with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision
2. Provide sound, high level advice and assistance to clinical staff for evidence-based evaluation of new medicine therapies, and to professional and operational supervisors regarding service delivery and the prioritisation and development of complex clinical services as they relate to medicines management for patients of the TCPRC.
3. Work cooperatively and effectively with the multidisciplinary team within and external to the TCPRC, and with patients/carers, and actively participate and provide high level advice as a reference point for medicines management within this multidisciplinary environment.
