The Training Manager will identify the training needs of the TEC and provide fit-for-purpose training, content and assessment across all electoral operations.

Talk to us about how this could work for you.Hours per fortnight73.50 hours per fortnight- flexible options available.DutiesConduct in-depth research and consultation with stakeholders to identify opportunities, priorities, and best practices for electoral training.Ensure electoral training meets legislative requirements and aligns with TEC strategic priorities.Develop and implement a comprehensive TEC training strategy, including the creation of an Elections Lab where blended face-to-face, eLearning and simulations will support and maintain election readiness.Create and deliver a broad range of training programs and resource materials; manage the Elections Lab to improve the efficiency and capability of electoral officers across the state.In consultation with the Operations Manager, develop and implement the TEC training calendar including planning and delivery of election conferences.As leader of the TEC's training team, provide mentorship and management of the Training Officer; recruit and train facilitators as needed during electoral events.Oversee TEC's Learning Management System (LMS) including development, monitoring and assessment of online training required of TEC staff and a large casual workforce during an electoral event.Monitor and assess the impact of TEC training initiatives, delivering recommendations for continuous improvement to enhance effectiveness and accessibility of the training programs and materials.Foster a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organisation.
