About the School Established in 1963, Kindon State School is part of the Macintyre Cluster, which encompasses all of the small schools surrounding Goondiwindi as well as the primary and high schools within the town. The Kindon State School community requires an educational leader who has the experience, confidence, and skills to make a real and lasting difference. The school is a one-teacher primary school with a teaching Principal who is assisted by a contract teacher 1-2 days a week and a number of teacher aides. The school is an integral part of the local rural community with all students living on neighbouring properties with the area being prime grain and cattle country. Kindon State School caters for students from Prep to Year 6 with current enrolment numbers at 8.
