Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AV Technician / Site Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and manage projects on-site. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality AV installations and services.
Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced installation, rack building, termination, and testing of a wide range of AV equipment, including but not limited to: displays, video walls, speakers, projectors, audio systems, control systems, and video conferencing solutions.Oversee and coordinate on-site AV installation projects from installation to commissioning, ensuring timely and successful completion.Lead and monitor a team of AV technicians and subcontractors, providing guidance, training, and support.Coordinate with project managers, clients, builders, electricians, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.Conduct site assessments, manage site logistics, including equipment delivery, and work organization.Ensure all installations adhere to industry best practices, relevant standards, and safety regulations.Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, floor plan and specifications.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Provide technical support and maintenance services as needed.Train and mentor site technicians setting them up for success.Travel to regional and remote client sites as needed.Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as an Audio Visual Technician, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.Strong knowledge of AV systems, equipment, and integration techniques.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.Relevant certifications (e.g., Open Cabling registration, CTS, CTS-I) are highly desirable.Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites.Benefits of Working at Pro AV Solutions (WA): Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting and challenging AV projects.Supportive and collaborative team environment.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Company vehicle, and mobile phone.Opportunities for career growth within a growing company. #J-18808-Ljbffr
