Occupational Therapist (Full-time / Part-time)
The Role:
To provide high-quality, Occupational Therapy services to the children and families of our community.
Our service area is spread across South and West Gippsland, with a focus on providing personalized care to those in need.
As a mobile service, our team travels regularly to clients' homes, schools, and kindergartens to deliver best-practice therapeutic supports.
Group programs are run over school holidays, offering opportunities for team collaboration and caseload management.
We also offer the possibility of working from our small clinic space in Longwarry, which will be used to develop and utilize new resources and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Travel to families in their natural settings, including homes, schools, and kindergartens
* Provide best-practice therapeutic supports to clients either 1:1 or in groups
* Manage own calendar within the confines of the employment agreement, with flexibility in start and end times
* Keep thorough records for all interactions with clients, including session notes, reports, and resources developed
* Maintain own registrations and professional development obligations
* Fulfill the responsibilities negotiated with the client in the Service Agreement
* Timely completion of timesheet and expense reimbursement form
Requirements:
* Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
* Professional registration with AHPRA
* Interest and/or experience working with pediatric populations and the NDIS
Entitlements:
* Salary ($80,000 - $115,000 pro-rata, dependent on experience)
* Fortnightly pay
* SUPER: 11%
* Workcover Insurance
* Pro-rata annual and personal leave
* PD budget - $2500 budget per year, pro rata
* Phone allowance - $10 per f/n
* Travel reimbursement – 0.96c / km or work vehicle could be negotiated in remuneration package for full-time mobile staff
* All resources required for role – laptop, printer, laminator (if required), personal mobile therapy kit, access to bigger equipment, resources, and assessments shared between the team
* Regular supervision (clinical and peer)
* 3-week shutdown over Christmas/New Year period
* Paid parental leave
* Option of more or less hours over school holidays if desired
