About the Role: As Commercial Manager, you will be a key adviser to the CFO and senior leadership team, driving commercial performance through smarter contract management, pricing, procurement, and risk control. You'll help shape the organisation's commercial strategy, optimise its supply chain, and play a central role in capital investment planning. Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Financial AnalysisDevelop and implement commercial strategies in collaboration with business unit leaders.Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.Review and negotiate commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal compliance.Monitor market trends, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear recommendations to senior leaders.Procurement & Supply Chain ManagementLead the development and ongoing management of a fit-for-purpose procurement policy.Work closely with operational teams to manage strategic inventory levels and ensure effective use of working capital.Negotiate procurement agreements for critical equipment and services.Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and procurement processes.Contract Pricing & Revenue OptimisationTake the lead on pricing strategies for commercial contracts and services.Support contract execution and performance monitoring to ensure revenue and margin targets are met.Collaborate with regulatory and finance teams to manage pricing arrangements for top customers and distributed generation projects.Develop policies around capital contributions for new infrastructure investment.Risk & Insurance ManagementIdentify, assess, and mitigate key commercial risks across the business.Manage the annual insurance renewal process, ensuring effective coverage and cost efficiency.Ensure all commercial arrangements are compliant with relevant laws and industry regulations.What You'll Bring:
