The management of these assets requires a large capital renewals program comprising hundreds of various sized projects annually. In addition, continuing growth of the city drives the need for new infrastructure or upgrades to existing infrastructure.The Infrastructure and Operations Division employs dedicated project management resources within sections responsible for delivery of capital works. These teams hold specialist project management staff who are experienced and skilled in: project management and capital delivery, procurement, contract administration, risk management and various engineering disciplines relevant to their field. These staff apply project management processes and practice to deliver projects in the approved capital plan, as defined and managed by the Program Management Office (PMO).About YouOur ideal candidate will have:Associate Degree in Engineering or other related technical qualification.Diploma qualifications in project management, or equivalent.Capacity to obtain Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM- Australian Institute of Project Management).Strong experience in project management across the planning and delivery lifecycle and within a structured project management framework.Experience in capital infrastructure works (e.g. design, construction, procurement, contract management).Demonstrated highly developed leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with experience in multi-faceted stakeholder management.How to ApplyYour application can be submitted through the 'Apply' button.
