While the majority of our work is based in Geelong and the Bellarine, we also work on projects throughout the Surf Coast, Colac Otway Shire, and occasionally throughout regional Victoria.The responsibilities will include:Civil Water - including but not limited to - water supply services, sewer works, storm drainage, gas fitting, pipe laying and water mains and occasional commercial maintenanceWorking with a wide range of specialised equipment including Pneumatic Under Road Boring Equipment, Guided Directional Drilling Rigs, Commercial High Pressure Drain Cleaning Equipment, Acoustic Leak Location Equipment, Poly Welding/Fusion Equipment, Hydro Vacuum Tankers, Directional Drills, CCTV Cameras, Excavators, Backhoes, Skid Steers and Tip TrucksLiaising with clients, site managers and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and exceptional customer serviceCompleting all work to the highest quality standards while ensuring excellent compliance with all aspects of occupational health and safety and environmental standards and all clients requirementsWhat you bringA registered plumber, you will have preferably a minimum of 2 years Commercial and Civil plumbing maintenance experienceAbility to read and interpret drawings, architectural plans and specificationsExperience working in a team environmentA willingness to learn and a commitment to developing your skills in the industry (we maintain a regular training schedule).Computer literacy is essentialExcellent attention to detail.A strong focus on quality and occupational health and safetyA desire to work hard and build a career with a growing business.You must hold a current Driver’s License and Construction Induction Card (OHS White/Red Card), and it is highly desirable if you have some (or all) of the following:Truck License (HR or MC)Confined Spaces Entry TrainingFirst Aid/CPRHeight Safety TicketGas Registration/ LicenseBackflow Testing AccreditationRail track Safety AccreditationWhat we offerA full-time position of 38 hours per week and an above award competitive salary in line with your skills and experience, monthly RDO’s and the opportunity for overtime during peak periods and based upon client requirements.We offer a supportive environment with a commitment to developing our staff where hard-work and performance are recognised and rewarded.
