The Mine & Roster
Located in western Tasmania, this hard rock mine site is supported by a comfortable and well-equipped mining camp with a high standard of meals on offer. The preferred roster arrangement is a 4:3; 8:6 roster however open being flexible.
The Role
Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance Planning, you will enjoy working in a team of experienced mining professionals to improve equipment reliability by continuously reviewing equipment serviceability and maintenance effectiveness. Your duties will include;-
7. Manage equipment life-cycles, maintenance plans, and upgrade schedules.
8. Analyze monthly equipment downtime to pinpoint improvement areas.
9. Lead investigations into major equipment failures and downtime events.
10. Report monthly equipment performance metrics, highlighting key downtime causes.
11. Establish maintenance standards and frequencies for plant assets, guided by a structured approach.
12. Define technical quality standards for maintenance activities and develop work instruction content.
13. Oversee project life cycles from planning to execution, ensuring operability and maintainability.
Your Skills and Experience
You will come from a mining or heavy industry related background with experience on heavy industry machinery. You'll come armed with;-
14. Relevant tertiary engineering qualification (Mechanical/Electrical)
15. Experience with operating CMMS
16. Experience in minerals processing and/or mining maintenance reliability
17. 2+ years' experience in a similar role
18. Demonstrated capability in effective communication, feedback and collaboration with others
