A unique opportunity to spearhead transformative change by supporting the establishment of the Gender-based Violence Reform Unit responsible for leading on the proposed National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-based Violence.
We are looking for experienced candidates with a sound understanding of gender-based violence. This includes understanding ways to prevent and respond to gender-based violence through evidence-based frameworks, evidence-based practice, advice, practical actions, and communications. Candidates should have strong interpersonal and communication skills to support the highly complex and sensitive nature of gender-based violence.
The Unit will lead the development of this new regulatory scheme, providing evidence-based guidance, education, and support, as well as exercising a range of enforcement powers for higher education providers to comply with their legal obligations under the National Code.
