Veterinarian - Bayside Animal Medical Centre
Come and work with friends & enjoy your days in our new state-of-the-art clinic. Bayside Animal Medical Centre requires the services of another fun-loving and competent veterinarian to help complement our staff of 5 vets and 9 support staff.
The Location: Situated in the sunny, tree-filled suburb of Brighton, very close to the beach, trendy Church St, coffee shops and an organic supermarket & deli (great for your lunch break).
The Clients: We're surrounded by clients who LOVE their pets, respect our opinions, and let us do whatever we feel necessary to help us help them.
The Clinic: Bright, spacious and well equipped! All the usual whistles and bells, including; digital radiography, in-house serology, touch-screen ultrasound, IM3 dental equip & digital dental radiography, spacious prep/procedures area with separate sterile operating theatre, multimodal anaesthetic monitors, ECG, surgical cautery, Surgivet anaesthetic machines, VIN subscription etc. Separate dog, cat & isolation wards, three consult rooms.
Most importantly: a comfortable staff room complete with snacks, Breville espresso machine (and St Ali coffee beans) to kick start your morning and for those well-deserved breaks!
The Staff: Our vets and nurses pride ourselves on having great interpersonal relationships and making work feel less like... work! We've had minimal team changes over the years – we just keep growing. Our days are carefully scheduled to avoid being overloaded and to ensure we can always practice a high standard of client and patient care. We value both personal and professional growth and ALWAYS have each other's backs.
The Role: General veterinarian with good all-round medical & surgical experience. Three & a half weekdays and one Saturday in four. Really, we just want a nice person who feels comfortable and confident talking to people, who is a competent all-round veterinarian, and who knows how to work in a (super fun) team. Your salary (paid WELL above award rates) is wholly negotiable based on your level of experience. Work-life balance is a huge priority for us, and you can be assured your life outside of the clinic will also be valued. We don't do after hours – we think the Emergency Centres do a better job for our clients. Four weeks paid leave per year. We are a Lincoln Leadership Employer of Choice vet hospital and a very proud partner of the CVS Group.
Starting date: September .
