Key Responsibilities: Supporting the strategy of Connect Source by physically installing, troubleshooting and providing maintenance of in-vehicle technology including telematics, driver safety systems, digital loading systems and site-specific communications.Vehicles can include prime movers, rigid axel trucks, light vehicles and heavy machinery.Providing in person and remote diagnosis and support for hardware faults.Maintaining detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.Ensuring data is accurate whilst maintaining the privacy and data protection of our clients.This may include the monitoring and distribution of reports when liaising with internal and external stakeholders and for ad hoc data/reporting requests.Reading and understanding wiring diagrams, installation manuals, schematics and instructions of products.Installing a variety of auto accessories, including audio systems, lighting, interior enhancements, and exterior modifications.Conducting inspections to ensure all accessories are installed correctly and meet quality standards.Collaborating with customers to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on accessory options and recommendations for technical solutions.Staying updated on the latest automotive trends and accessories to offer innovative solutions to customers.Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, ensuring efficient work practices. About You: Knowledge and understanding of Telematics systems, in particular MT Data and MDVR systems.Proven experience in a similar role with familiarity of GPS, cellular, camera, and satellite communication technology.Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, installation manuals, schematics and instructions.Strong knowledge of automotive accessories and installation techniques.Ability to work independently and adapt to various work environments.Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Possess excellent time management skills to meet scheduled deadlines.Computer literate, with the ability to learn new software systems.Hold a valid C-Class Drivers Licence.Able to pass a full pre-employment medical, police check and drug & alcohol screening (the tests are mandatory for site work and will be conducted regularly).
