About the Royal Perth Golf Club
The Royal Perth Golf Club has a rich history dating back to 1895, with its current location in South Perth established in 1908. As the oldest golf club in the metropolitan area, we are proud of our 130 year legacy.
Our club is renowned for its unique and challenging championship course, as well as our commitment to quality and diverse service offerings within the Western Australian golfing community. We are currently undergoing Stage 2 of our three-year course redevelopment plan, ensuring our course remains one of Australia's leading golf destinations.
We are seeking a highly organised Course Administration Assistant to join our passionate and high-performing Agronomy team.
About the Role
You will report to the Head Superintendent and play a key role in supporting the Agronomy department, ensuring smooth operations within the course maintenance facility. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organisation and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. While primarily an indoor, office-based role, occasional tasks may require you to step out onto the course.
Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to delivering a premium member experience, ensuring our operations align with the club's vision, values, and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Administrative Support – Manage emails, calls, and documentation for the agronomy team.
* Scheduling & Coordination – Organise calendars, coordinate team meetings, and assist in planning daily, weekly, and seasonal maintenance.
* Inventory & Supplies Management – Track stock levels and assist with ordering.
* Record-Keeping & Compliance – Maintain accurate records for safety, equipment, and environmental compliance.
* Budget Assistance – Monitor and track departmental expenses.
* Team Support – Assist with onboarding, training, and communication between departments.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong organisational and multitasking skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and the ability to learn and navigate new operating systems. A comfortable driver's license and experience in administration or office support would also be advantageous.
