Overseer – Ground Maintenance/Centre Hygiene 5D Cooma Correctional Centre Location – Cooma Correctional Centre Employment Type – Ongoing, Full Time Salary – $88,178 pa Incidental Allowance Superannuation Leave Loading Your Role We are currently sourcing a trade qualified candidate for the Ground Maintenance/ Hygiene Overseer position at Cooma Correctional Centre. As part of this role you must have experience in most of the following trades – Horticulture, Landscaping (Parks and Gardens), Asset/Vehicle Maintenance and/or Cleaning Operations. As the standout candidate for this role, you will have outstanding communication skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethics and integrity in line with CSI core values to train and supervise inmates, Quality control / inspection responsibilities and ensuring compliance. You are also required to have good computer knowledge, show strong resilience and have robust time management skills. What we’re looking for As a standout candidate you will have: Proven trade experience Willingness to work across varying trades and ability to multitask to achieve operational goals The successful candidate will be paid to undertake Primary Training for Certificate III in Correctional Practice Essential Requirements Current Certificate III in any of the following: Horticulture, Landscaping (Parks and Gardens), Asset/Vehicle Maintenance and/or Cleaning Operations. Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframes Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive to locations as required General understanding of capabilities around the use of computers and electronic platforms to access relevant departmental programmes and applications Download the role description.
