Assistant Director of Nursing Patient Flow Services
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Patient Flow Services provides contemporary strategic, operational and professional nursing leadership and management for the patient flow services.
The ADON will lead the development and implementation of systems and processes to improve patient demand management across West Moreton Health and lead the Patient Access and Coordination Hub (PACH) to support seamless patient flow coordination within WMH and other QH facilities to ensure patients receive timely care in the right location. The Patient Flow Service is responsible for providing expert advice to WMH leadership teams through the analysis of data, predictive modelling, and best practice. Collaborating with key leadership roles across WMH and external partners, the ADON will lead the development and implementation of innovative and contemporary practice models.
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
* Demonstrated high level knowledge of contemporary patient flow models, process and system redesign and capacity in leadership skills and management practices to achieve quality patient/consumer outcomes and productivity targets.
* Demonstrated commitment to outcome-driven performance and organisational achievement.
* Demonstrated proficiency to work effectively within a leadership team to meet the demands of complex healthcare environments.
* Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills, ability to consult, negotiate, and liaise effectively with (internal and external) key stakeholders, patients/consumers, their families and/or carers.
* Demonstrated advanced level knowledge and understanding of the key concepts of national and state health legislation, policies, frameworks, and standards.
