We’re looking for a Senior Personal Care Worker to work in the Melbourne, North/West Metro region. At this point in time, we are only seeking care workers for part time hours and who have a Certificate III in Individual Support or higher, or who have completed their first year or nursing. On top of supporting our elders in their homes, which means you are one–on–one with clients working individually. You will also provide support and guidance to our newer staff or just support and connect with our very experienced staff. Client/Carer feedback between PCWs, Client Advisors and Workforce Coordinators to streamline follow up and information sharing. Follow up roster/pay queries from PCW staff. Assist with the Recruitment and Induction of new staff members in conjunction with the Senior Workforce Coordinators (WFC) and Workforce Coordinators To best support our clients, we’re looking for people with: A desire to grow your leadership skills Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Home Care role, clinical or leadership backgrounds will be highly beneficial Able to work independently and as part of a team A reliable car and valid driver’s license to drive between client's homes and drive clients as required Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation The annual flu immunisation and a willingness to obtain each year to help keep our clients safe Ability to provide or obtain a suitability police check outcome Ability to supply or obtain current CPR (HLTAID 009) and First Aid Training Certificates (HLTAID 011) A Qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability Support, or similar. If you have finished your first year of a nursing qualification, that will count as a qualification. What do we do?
