A bit about your role
The Group Risk, Resilience & Privacy function, part of the Strategic Services Group, helps the business manage uncertainty, complex risks, and crises. The Senior Manager – Group Risk will be a trusted advisor to Senior Management and a risk leader in nbn’s governance community. This leadership role involves partnering with business units to manage risks, fostering a proactive risk culture, and providing technical expertise. The Senior Manager also oversees our GRC system, ServiceNow, and contributes to the Group Risk Uplift Program, ensuring effective risk management and continuous improvement in practices and culture.
The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring risk management practices across nbn to enhance the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. It requires being a trusted advisor to senior management, fostering a positive risk management culture, and ensuring all employees understand their roles in risk management. The role also includes providing strategic and technical advice, leading risk assessments, and collaborating with the Group Risk Leadership Team to deliver top-tier risk management processes and reporting.
A bit about you

Preferred experience includes critical infrastructure or telecommunications.
