Admin AssistantPay rate: £12.32Location: Southport General Register Office, PR8 2HHJob Title/Grade: AAWorking Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00 AM-16:00 PMOffice BasedBrook Street in partnership with the HMPO has a fantastic opportunity to join their Southport team as an admin assistant.Experience Needed/Desired:Demonstrate flexibility and be able to successfully perform a range of multi-skilled duties.Have a strong sense of personal ethics and honesty and can demonstrate sound interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills, and thrive working as part of a team.Show resilience and can work in a challenging and fast paced environment.Desirable:A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.List the duties of the role:To work in an operational team within Civil Registration Directorate (CRD) ensuring the delivery of key performance targets as set out in the CRD business plan.Key Responsibilities:Producing birth, death and marriage certificates using both manual and computer based systems.Inputting, verifying and retrieving information from both manual and computer based systems.Work effectively within a fast paced multi-tasking team based environment to achieve team goals/targets.To take responsibility for one's own personal attendance, performance and development.To demonstrate and promote HMPO Values in all areas of work, and adhere, without question, to HMPO policies and procedures.Please note that no annual leave will be permitted during the 4 weeks of training.Clearance level (to be applied for by Brook Street upon a successful application):Basic DBS + CTC (Counter Terrorism Clearance)Role specific requirements:You must hold a valid passport and must have lived in the UK for longer than 5 years. Please note that period of 6 months or longer spent outside of the UK in the last 5 years will unfortunately not be accepted. This role requires security clearance that will be processed for you, if successful.
